Attended the QCS pre-inspection meeting with vendor parties to review the purchase order, material, NDT, inspection, scope of work, manufacturing schedule, design and fabrication verification, appointed inspection body, technical requirements, document and data requirements, inspection and testing and final documentation.
Checked and verified raw material arrival at the vendor.
Monitored fit-up, welding activities, welders and welding consumables.
Checked dimensions before and after welding, trial fit and assembly.
Performed radiographic interpretation and reviewed and signed off all NDT reports.
Performed painting inspection.
Verified drawing and data requirements, timely shipment of equipment and materials, problem identification and corrective-action recommendations.
Reviewed engineering and drawing status, sub-order status, material status, manufacturing schedules, work in progress, shop capacity and workload.
Reviewed and verified as-built drawings.
Verified packing inspection before issuing the release note for production delivery.
